Microsoft to introduce the next generation of Dynamics CRM
Microsoft are getting set to push out the anticipated new version of the popular Dynamics CRM this autumn. The company claim this new version encompasses Microsoft Dynamic’s approach to working on and providing business solutions which ‘put people at the centre’.
Microsoft has made a promise that the new release will “deliver more personal experiences” in terms of marketing, sales and customer care experts. One way of doing this is to allow people to access information via several different devices, introducing a ‘new user experience’, as well as providing people with job-relevant access to information and delivering deeper and more insightful contextual information. It also comes with improved social collaboration capabilities.
Bob Stutz, Microsoft Dynamics CRM’s corporate vice president, said: “Customers don’t want to be sold to anymore. They are knowledgeable and are interacting with their social and professional networks to make their buying decisions. They expect businesses to help them make the most informed choice.”
He added: “Microsoft Dynamics CRM helps people connect with these customers in a way that is personal — giving them the information they need to choose the right solutions, engage to drive sales and nurture relationships to deliver amazing experiences.”
The latest version of Dynamics CRM is expected to offer a connecting to Microsoft’s marketing automation solution, MarketingPilot, allowing businesses to manage budgets, products and resources, and more.
In the wake of CRM’s release, Microsoft also plans to extend user access to CRM information for devices such as Windows phone, iPhone and Android.
The new version of CRM will also allow for more collaboration and information sharing with integrated Yammer, as well as being able to connect with Lync and Skype.
Brad Shimmin commented recently that Microsoft has taken its time when it came to innovation, but is slowly catching up with its newest release now on the cards.
